The first big earthquake that hit Christchurch was on 4th September 2010

The second earthquake was 3 months later.

People were very worried that many people had been injured in the Cathedral.

An earthquake has less impact when a fault line runs through it.

The ground was shaking more violently in the September earthquake.

Actually the february one was a bit stronger then the previous one.
There are no earthquakes in New Zealand.

I don’t know if there is a page about this but I know for sure there is earthquakes in new zealand.
There are often minor tremors that people don’t even feel.

The ground shook more then the february one.

Actually the february earthquake was worse with the houses because the earthquake did 2x as much damage to the houses.
